Launch of CODENAME: MADELEINE

The launch of CODENAME: MADELEINE took place on July 17 in the Moravian Garden, Chelsea, where Christian the Lion used to roam in the 1970s.  Family, friends, and reviewers braved one of the hottest nights of the year to celebrate the launch – made even hotter by the fire eater, Rhiannon… There were toasts to the book’s celebrated narrator, Olivia Williams, and to the author’s web designer, Caroline Englund, who came over from Sweden via Kos.  The final toast was made to a brave SOE agent whose codename was MADELEINE.
